Dental Implants

Dental implants act as artificial tooth roots, fusing to your jawbone over time and allowing you a strong foundation for your new teeth. Not only can dental implants replace a missing or broken tooth or multiple teeth, they can improve your facial structure, smile, speech and ability to eat and drink, which can greatly improve your life overall. At our Provo, UT clinic, we offer two types of dental implants – single tooth replacement and multiple teeth replacements. Using the latest in dental implant technologies, our dental professionals are on hand to guide you through each treatment.

Single Tooth Replacement

Replacing a single tooth with an implant is a relatively straightforward procedure. We first will assess your jaw and gum health to ensure your mouth and jawbone is strong and healthy enough to support a dental implant. After we plan your individual treatment with you, we will insert the titanium implant at the site where the tooth will go. It may take several months for the dental implant to fuse itself into the jawbone, but we will give you a temporary crown so you do not have to go toothless while you wait!

Once ready, we will develop your new artificial tooth to match your own existing teeth, so it is natural and comfortable in size and fit. Once we attach the new tooth to the implant, you will have a brand new and completely natural-looking smile!

Multiple Teeth Replacement

Replacing multiple teeth works in the same way as a single tooth replacement does, depending on the areas where the teeth are missing. If you have multiple missing teeth in a row, a dental bridge will be attached directly to the implant. Up to three to four new teeth, in the form of dental crowns, can be attached to a single dental implant meaning you can completely transform your appearance in one simple procedure.
