Some of the state of the art equipment that we feature
is the diagnodent laser and our intra-oral camera. The
diagnodent laser is used for early detection of cavities
that can occur on the chewing surface of teeth. The
laser is placed on the grooves and can pinpoint the
location of the cavity if one is present. This allows
us to detect the cavity sooner and allows us to perform
a more conservative filling for the tooth. The use of
the intra oral camera is also a helpful tool in diagnosing
and explaining dental treatment. The intra oral camera
is a fiberoptic camera that displays the patients teeth
onto a LCD screen so that the dentist and the patient
can discuss treatment that is needed.
